A bunch of varietals, a few of them French hybrids, aged on some good oak. We get the typical flavors and aromas of the Bordeaux varieties in luscious oak trying to synergize with the earthy, leafy Michigan grown hybrids. It’s quite unique. It doesn’t taste flawed. By the time we got there this has been released for a few years. It’s just shy of medium bodied. Very nice red fruit. We love good oak. Almost gave it 90. |
