Olive tapanade, garrigue (I love to see that on a California wine!) fresh cracked black pepper, ripe blueberries and ripe black currant on the nose. High intensity of aromas. Palate adds dried thyme, ripe strawberries, ripe black cherries and bacon grease. Medium + intensity of flavors. Finishes with 30 seconds of lovely bitter herbs that recall the garrigue from the nose, as well as dark chocolate and a hint of vanilla. |
