Very interesting. Vaguely familiar, sort of teroldego-like. Bright fruits, steel, no wood. Overall, this has a nice almost Alpine (Jura, Val d'Aosta) quality to it and one I really dig. I can see this having a hard time catching on the US.

This is the lightest New World Cab I've ever had. Definitely Old World in Style. Black Cherry and green pepper on the Aroma. Oregeno as well. Very herbal.

Light on the tongue with some black pepper and maybe some cedar. Low Tannin with nice acidity.
Finish is spiced Cherry

Dark red-purple, vivid acidity, juicy, deeply fruited with floral overtones and a slightly tannic finish. One can see why this grape may have been mistaken in an earlier era for gamay noir a jus blanc. It has light-to-medium body and enough acidity (and low enough alcohol) to pair well with food. Tasted blind, it could be mistaken for a good Cru Beaujolais.

Deep ruby colour. Medium (+) and developing nose with red cherry, black cherry, blueberry, ripe wild raspberry, vanilla, rosemary, black pepper, rose petal and violet. Medium (+) taste of red cherry, black cherry, blueberry, ripe wild raspberry, chocolate, rosemary, black pepper and rose petal. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Medium body. A very good and floral Sonoma County Zinfandel that goes excellent with grilled meat. Needed an hour to open. Drink now or over the next eight years. Goes well with beef, duck, mushrooms, pork or veal.

What a delightful little treat. Suggested my Matt @ Fermented to go with Gumbo and some light appetizers.
Slightly hazy light purple in color. Aroma hints of some tartness to come and is light red juicy fruit like strawberry and even cranberry. A hint of natural yeast notes as well.

Bright and medium + acidity with a straight follow up to the aroma above. Light, refreshing body with Strawberry, tart cranberry, some floral notes and yeast like finish.

Easy drinking and should be treated like a rose or wine.

Light in the glass. Bright fruit, high acid, and steely minerality on the palate. Opened for the holidays, but would love to see where the wine goes in 1-3 years as the acid settles down. My favorite wine from Broc so far.

Always interesting to see wide differences of opinion on a wine: some VA on the nose, very tart, completely un "clairet"-like. Pass.

My first Broc Love Red, and this is a wonderfully fresh and refreshing light red, very aromatic, but with enough substance and acid to be very nice with food, with a long, bittersweet finish and only 12.5% ABV. The dominant Carignan is distinctive and may not appeal to everyone. It reminds me much more of a South African Pinotage than of a Provençal red. It's a bit expensive if purchased directly from the winery @$25, but it is available for less elsewhere.

Didn’t mean to age this and am sorry I did. Time has resolved any structure and just left sweet fruit. Cherry cola nose. Mulled cherries on the palate without supporting acidity. Oh well, was very good young and not meant to be aged I imagine.

Lukt: Kirsenær, urter, krydder - litt ubestemmelig. Til grillet hamburger
Smak: Veldig saftig, både unge og modne bær, 7/12 tannin - veldig godt integrerte, god lengde, struktur.

My first experience with Valdiguie varietal, a light structured natural wine aged in stainless steel and used oak for 6 months. Pale ruby. Medium+ intensity aroma of leather, barnyard, cherries, spices, rhubarb, hint of rose petals. Light body, refreshing, feels quite Gamay’ish (also underwent carbonic maceration) just without expressive red fruit flavours, more like Foillards organic style. Juicy, fleshy and crunchy cranberry and other red fruit notes, vibrant high acidity and finely grained medium tannins.
