Somewhat over the hill, pleasant wine but not very remarkable. Enjoyed earlier tonight at good CT / wine buddy neighborbill's house with out of town friends. Almost the color of aged tawny port, smooth but mild bodied and no significant aftertaste. Floral nose with anise, flavor profile resembling a pinot more then a zin, primary flavors included white pepper, green peppers, not signifiantly woody, blackberry and blueberry.
