4/11/2024 - Ridgerunner Likes this wine: 93 pointsOf their wines, none are bad wines, this one came in 4th after Keltie, Griffin's Lair and Walker Vine Hill. All such great wines, and such a waste they couldn't be a part of the old vine movement. |

4/8/2024 - MicklethePickle Likes this wine: 93 pointsPnP. Good stuff. Darkly colored, with a nose reminiscent of a decent Cote Rotie. Firm, crisp and rich in the mouth, with dark fruit flavors. Drinking beautifully now. 5-13-17-8: 93/100. |

1/27/2024 - danielbleier Likes this wine: 91 pointsDid not reach the heights of some of the other wines of the evening (Stonessence, FM Collaboration Series V) but was still an outstanding wine. Smooth and lush, plenty of blackberry and blueberry with no tannic grip. |

1/5/2024 - twoheadedguy Likes this wine: 88 pointsClassic Syrah on the nose, white pepper, nutmeg, wild flower. Dark fruit and cassis mid palate. Finish is ok, high amount of oak doesn’t fit well on this one. |

12/14/2023 - kendrickbaker Likes this wine: 90 pointsFruit forward, well balanced and a little hot at the finish — as is typical of Sonoma pinots for me. Not a lot of complexity or nuances but enjoyable. If this was a car it would have one gear but still fun to drive |

12/13/2023 - ogres3 Likes this wine: 91 pointsSo this wine has gone from undrinkable to intriguing. Almost pinot on opening with a faint but distinct green stick tartness, and not in a bad way. After about an hour and a half the funk blows off and becomes a full bodied red and blue fruit Cali syrah. |

12/10/2023 - mflesh wrote: NRA little bit sour getting going but after an hour we realized that it was just a ton of astringent character. Blowing off after 90 min, this one shows robust black and purple fruit. Brambleberry pie with graham cracker crust, buttered pecan, red and black licorice, red plums, black olives. Finishes with a roasted cinnamon pecan and red fruit finish. Delicious wine but did make me question opening this for probably 30 minutes. This wine is massive, so it will require at least an hour after its 10 year slumber to come into its element. Drink with a heavy decant or cellar for another 7-10 years. |

11/18/2023 - Tim336 Likes this wine: 93 pointsGosh, really good. A "cab lover's pinot" for sure -- rich and still a bit tannic, with some cinnamon and lots of sweet boysenberry thrown in. But cranberries too for sure, and some pomegranate as a previous poster mentioned. What a great wine to roll around in your mouth for a while. Extra points for having the least fiddly and aggravating wax capsule I've yet come across. Kudos! |

11/7/2023 - bonedocrock Likes this wine: 94 pointsThis wine is really drinking nicely now. It still has some forward tannins. The first nose wasn’t great but it really developed after five minutes in the glass. I think it would benefit from decanting for aeration and because of substantial sediment. This wine will keep drinking nicely for another few years. It’s very Pax-ish. |

Definitely its Hay Day was probably 2 to 3 years ago, but I have heard these do hold and appreciate, but I guess I held it a little too long and let it appreciate a bit too much! Definitely planning to consume the 2018 and 19 soon. The Chardonnay I think holds awful lot longer. |
