2/28/2014 - rodsjuice Likes this wine: NRNo score as I am suffering with a cold, but still found this wine to be quite enjoyable and easy to drink. Noticed the cork was of composite material and had a tire track printed on it (Driven cellars has a car theme). If you visited the winery you would understand. Anyway, the color was dark and dense. Nose was big and aromatic (even with my cold). Looking forward to enjoying my last bottle when my sinuses are cleared up. An unusual varietal that I have not tried in the past, but would buy more of this again. |

11/12/2011 - tlinch wrote: 83 pointsOpened two hours with very little development. Standard Foothills red...black cherry, vanilla, cedar, cough syrup, some earth, tame (nearly lacking) tannins. Defenitely a primary/linear wine with a slightly rustic, nearly interesting palate. Finish drops off a cliff with a bitter parachute. Good wine but uninteresting. |
