I would expect it to be very rewarding for at least another 2 years or more. |

Out of the 3 varieties purchased from GBV this was the best. Out of the bottles, one was horrendous from the start and the other two didn’t hold up after being opened for less than 24 hours in between consumption. However, save yourself some money and get a proper Italian red instead. It’ll be better. |

2/7/2021 - SummersCW Does not like this wine: 70 pointsSecond bottle - opened the night before and had a few glasses. Much better than the other bottle. Poured another couple glasses the next night - terrible again. Absolutely zero longevity if open. All the fruit was gone from the previous night. Unbalanced toward acidic again. Either the winery is serving something else in its place or this wine is abysmal if opened longer than a few hours. DO. NOT. BUY. A 70 is generous. |

It tasted stiff and unready to drink, so we let it breathe for another 90 minutes. After 3 hours, it was still stiff and lacking the vibrant fruit we tasted at the winery. Re-corked and approached it again a day later and it was awful. Completely undrinkable. None of the bold blackberry and currant, no tannins, and little else other than borderline acidic. Waste of $45. Dumped. |
