8/2/2014 - gingerbreadman Likes this wine: 87 pointsDark, solid one dimensionally purple in colour. Earthy with notes of dark fruit but not berries. More tannic than many with balanced adity throughout its length. A good food wine better with more robust dishes. |

6/20/2014 - gingerbreadman Likes this wine: 88 pointsSolid and quite earthy. I enjoyed this Pinot Noir. Less fruity, thankfully, than many with more of the traditional Pinot Noir qualities. |

4/10/2013 - Parnelli Likes this wine: 89 pointsMuch better than the 2008. Pours lighter with lots of red cherry and cola on the nose and palate. Very nice balance. It was wonderful before and with the baked salmon. |

The wine was better with food than by itself prior to the garlic grilled prawns. Maybe it was too 'burgundian' for us ... we like a little more grape flavor ... it seemed a little 'flat' to me ... not a very 'focused' wine at all. |

2/8/2008 - dbkayanda wrote: 89 pointsVery floral wine that wants to convince you it's off dry. Very food friendly; almost overpowering on its own. An outstanding deal from the winemaker at the much spendier Rombauer Cellars. Definitely my best wine buy this year. The screwtop is practical for a "drink soon" white, but takes some getting used to. |
