I originally openend this wine in April 2011, and can't remember my exact impression at that time other than it was OK. It then sat in the refrigerator (with a vacuum cork) until I finished the rest in September 2012! It remained in good shape, nice sweet taste, but perhaps a little bland. |

The tannins on the palate are excellent, and wonderful blue fruit flavors evolve in the middle. The tannins are full all the way across, but they work well with the big fruit flavors, and they never become overbearing. |

The wine has a nice mouth feel and delivers dark plums and a hint of honey! The tannins are slow to bloom but become quite firm late in the experience. The fruit is clear and juicy, and while the tannins become a bit heavy out on the finish, this bottle has a lot of potential. A little bit of age could make this quite solid. |

There is a very light amount of tomato flavor on the front end with cherries coming into play on the mid palate. The wine has some nice acidity, and cranberry flavors show up with some nice oak to round out the finish. The tannic structure is nice here, and with a year or so to integrate, I can see this blend really shining. A great effort for a new producer in the region! 89+ |
