Wow, what a good blend, no rough edges here, med bodied, plush in the middle and a lengthy finish.
Buy it if you can find it, this was purchased at Cavu.

Took a bit of time to open up. Some hard sediment in the neck which was odd. After some decanting time the initial taste was very good. Finish was a bit off. Still a good wine for the price point.

Great wine. Petit verdot adds flavorful licorice taste.

A little ripe with tannins that aren't smooth. Not overly exciting compared to some of the other offerings.

Very pleasant dessert wine. Reminds me a little of Dolce, but with much weaker flavors. I originally openend this wine in April 2011, and can't remember my exact impression at that time other than it was OK. It then sat in the refrigerator (with a vacuum cork) until I finished the rest in September 2012! It remained in good shape, nice sweet taste, but perhaps a little bland.

Blackberries and steak make the nose enticing, while a bit of heat makes me nervous. The tannins on the palate are excellent, and wonderful blue fruit flavors evolve in the middle. The tannins are full all the way across, but they work well with the big fruit flavors, and they never become overbearing.

Weekend Before Thanksgiving in the Willamette Valley, Oregon (Oregon): Deep dark cherries and lovely nutmeg make for an inviting nose. The wine has a nice mouth feel and delivers dark plums and a hint of honey! The tannins are slow to bloom but become quite firm late in the experience. The fruit is clear and juicy, and while the tannins become a bit heavy out on the finish, this bottle has a lot of potential. A little bit of age could make this quite solid.

Walla Walla Visit, End of Summer 2009; 8/29/2009-8/30/2009 (Walla Walla, Washington): This nose is HUGE and full of rich cherries, a hint of tar, and a floor of oak boards holding the whole thing together. There is a very light amount of tomato flavor on the front end with cherries coming into play on the mid palate. The wine has some nice acidity, and cranberry flavors show up with some nice oak to round out the finish. The tannic structure is nice here, and with a year or so to integrate, I can see this blend really shining. A great effort for a new producer in the region! 89+
