The nose shows with some tobacco and strawberry notes with the former too pronounced. The wine is thin/light on the palate with the best fruit flavor up front which dissipates mostly upon finishing. At Costco, QPR is average for a daily drinker ($15-$16) but for a few bucks more, one kind find better PN wines from this area (Monterey County/Arroyo Seca). |
