You get the tartness and brightness of red cherry from the pinot noir combined with the richness and spiciness of the petite sirah. It is so obvious I found it almost disjointed, but perhaps a little bottle time will help blend these elements better. Overall, a very drinkable wine, but overpriced at $30. You can do better for that. |
