7/15/2013 - RMapou Likes this wine: 85 pointsSalmon color, a tinge of brown. Pleasant with flavors of cherry and strawberries, with slight sweetness. But, clearly needs to be drunk now, as there as a slight hint of oxidation. Not enough to ruin the wine, however. |

The label does not have a vintage year on it but it has a 1+1 Cork which leads me to believe I could have cellared it for much longer. With a hint of fermentation on the palate, it could be. Don't let me steer you wrong though, it was great the way it is, but makes me curious to see what a couple years would do for it. The web site calls this a user friendly wine and the store keeper told us that this was the vineyards best selling wine and I can see why. It almost taste like a Sangria, and adding some fruit and chilling at a lower temperature would make it so. We chilled ours to 60, but it was still a great wine. One I'll buy again for parties and picnics. This one makes me proud to be a Delawarean ;-) |

Of course there was blueberry on the palate with a hint of fermentation. Although this is not labelled as a Vintage, it could stand a couple more years in the cellar, afterall it has a natural cork. |
