Ruby, shiny & translucent in the glass. Nose - heavily Grenache-influenced, brimes with forest strawberries, raspberries, sweet cherries, cranberries, tad of earth and backbone meatiness, dried herbs from Provence & orange zest. Palate - ethereal yet with precision & depth, flavours as per nose, racy acidity, sweet & sour-touched finish! |

Apparently the grenache is from the same Vineyard as Sadie's Soldaat and it shows. Plenty of layers and depth from the grenache while the cinsaut adds that unfined texture to the fruitiness. Yum. |

Green Grenache and Cinsault on the nose with grass, some developing dried meat savory textures, red fruits. Palate gives good acidity and softer tannins along with good spicy notes from the Syrah. Rather nice although will survive for several more years. |
