8/12/2019 5:54:00 AM - Greetings, Just noticed your picture. There is nothing like a fine cigar, and in my opinion, a good port. Add warm mixed nuts-no peanuts-and you are in heaven. I am sure you tried this combination before. What is your favorite beverage with a cigar? Dave

8/21/2018 1:17:00 AM - Good to be fans, bajayngo. Nice list of favs....Sir Winston, of course, being a rockstar having a half bottle of Pol Roger every morning with his full English brekkie ;-)

2/28/2017 4:19:00 PM - I know Motz.........my wine bros are making my wine dreams come true, haha. Time to raise the stakes!

2/24/2017 9:50:00 PM - Looks like you may need to update your Dream Wine list! Given Alain's style, I would be happy to split the cost of a Noel.

2/5/2017 8:15:00 PM - Thanks! I live in Walla Walla so have easy access to the local stuff.

12/17/2016 6:13:00 PM - thanks for becoming a fan of my Tasting Notes, I did not see you at Big Smoke last year. Is that an Opus X?

8/5/2015 10:31:00 PM - I thought that was you! It really is a small wine community. I'll definitely shoot you a message the next time I'm in Seattle.

8/5/2015 10:04:00 PM - Just noticed we follow each other on Instagram (pinocchiostory) haha. Small "wine" world. If you cross over to Seattle [from Spokane], let me know, will crack some bottles. Cheers! Matt

7/28/2015 4:53:00 AM - Hi Bajayngo! Anyone who is a fan of the La Las is top-shelf in our book! We know very little about Oregon and Washington, but trying hard (Elk Cove Pinot Gris during lunch was OK). White Burgundy, well, perhaps where God lives ;-) We spent ten days at Maison Olivier Leflaive last year and bounced around Burgundy for the sixth time. Oh Our Ears and Whiskers...

6/9/2014 3:35:00 PM - We were in Point Loma, Mira Mesa and Ocean Beach. My dad still lives down town and my brother is in Santee. Hope to make it back down soon. Looks like you were are up in WA state where I am currently too.

6/9/2014 3:31:00 PM - Well that's interesting. From your picture I can tell that I've got at least two decades on you! Back when I was growing up a native San Diegan was a rare species; all the military meant everyone came from somewhere else. HS was James Madison in Clairemont; last lived in Poway before moving north in 1986.

  • bajayngo says:

3/7/2014 4:27:00 PM - haha, just had it last night with an 81 Lafite and 03 Cayuse Armada. Spoil of riches!!!

3/7/2014 4:15:00 PM - let me know when you're ready to crack that '85 Huet Moelleux CdB, I will make myself available ;-)
