Rioja - Spain. #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-a little fertilizer/poop component; heavy dose of sour cherry; a little vanilla component; TASTE-very dry on the back-end; I like the fruit; complex mid-palate; tannins on the back-end make is dry and a classic food wine; I like the blackberry; some cranberry on the back-end; this gives me a bordeaux play for far less money; this will evolve nicely in a few years; if drinking now, be sure to decant for a few hours; JM-90; GV-90+ 90+ points |
