W_Chablis - . #6; (tasted blind); VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-pale yellow; NOSE-sea shells, very ocean; very fresh & vibrant; a little fig and grapefruit play; PALATE-extremely light; it's borderline lemon water; would like think this was a Pinot Grigio or Sauv Blanc; some grapefruit and flinty pebbles; perhaps a Chablis, but at best this is an awful Chablis; this is BAD; that's all I got; AM-90/92; GV-74 74 points |

W_Chardonnay - Argentina. #1; (tasted blind); COLOR-golden; NOSE-nice; balanced; very fresh & vibrant; melon; very pretty; peach, apricot; subtle oak; great integrations; PALATE-Awesome; still fairly creamy; definitely some butter; bright and vibrant; this is more of a New World play, but this wine is for everybody as it's right in that sweet spot between Old and New World; I really like this; JM-93; GV-92+ 92+ points |

W_Chassagne Montrachet - Burgundy. #5; (tasted blind); VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-golden; NOSE-vibrant; get a great Apricot essence; also pine needles in the woods after a rain storm; I like it, but a little awkward; PALATE-very creamy; definitely oaked; medium body; very disjointed and awkward; an off balance vanilla extract play on the back-end; this wine is missing the intangibles; has everything (vanilla, subtle oak; apples & pears, acidity), but not together like it should be; there's a orange marmalade play; reminds me of Novocain; WS-90; GV-82 82 points |

Africa. #2; (tasted blind); COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-more Old World; earthiness, clay; a little pineapple on the back-end; more Burgundian style; PALATE-sour apples; I'd be shocked if this isn't from France; definitely an Old World flavor profile; great with fish dishes; it has great acidity on the back-end; I love the way it completely coats my mouth; subtle butter & exotic hazel nut on the mid-palate; almost a fungus, mushroom flavor on the back-end; this is not fruit driven -- light butter, oak and almond / hazel nuts which is very exciting; a classic Chardonnay style that definitely tastes more expensive; also tastes like it has a little more age on it; this style appeals to my palate; I like it's complexities; good flavoring and great transitions throughout; some wet leaf and pear as well; a very good effort; I like it a lot; GV-91 91 points |

W_Chardonnay - CA. #7; (tasted blind); VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-very American; heavy oak; burnt wood; buttered popcorn; a little apple sauce; PALATE-so ridiculously oaked; I'm flabbergasted that wine like this is still being produced; for my palate, this is a style that is just unacceptable; so ridiculously over-the-top; it's like drinking melted wood with a few lemons squeezed on there; heavily oaked; heavily buttered; many love this big over-oaked California style; RP-96; GV-68 68 points |
