Unique faint peach color bordering on orange depending on the light. I struggled with the nose, mainly because this was opened late in the afternoon if you know what I mean, strawberry maybe? But it was very pleasant. Palate was light fruitful and very refreshing. Good long finish.

This bottle is screaming for a beach chair, sand, and a sunset pairing. (469 views)

An Afternoon and Evening with Rob and Lisa (Chez MacKay): Nice salmon color. Nose of strawberries and white fruits. Similar on the palate, dry, with good acidity and balance. drank over two nights and paired excellently with a fontina-gruyere grilled cheese sandwich one night and vegetable lo mein the next night. this is really growing on me, especially when served at the right temperature (below room temp but not so cold it leaves condensation on the outside of the glass). the aromas are strikingly complex for a rose, with strawberries and melons and herbs and other goodness. nicely textured to pair with a wide variety of dishes. great job dave!!

Enjoyed last night with a grilled figs and prosciutto appetizer with neighborbill and the ladies. Our second bottle, very good, a very good QPR, definitely will need to get more of this before the summer is out. Fairly typical deep salmon / dark pink color. Nose prominent with red berries especially strawberry and raspberry.Very well structured with some layers of flavor and complexity. Palate initially very consistent with nose with a heavy red berry presence, on the mid and late palate a more peppery, minerally and red fruit finish with nice acidity. A great summer wine, highly recommend this. (889 views)

Served at cellar temp (55-60). Nice copper river salmon color. Pretty nose, strawberry, red raspberry, hint of spice, rose petals, watermelon. On the palate strawberry, green olive, mineral. So much fruit that that seems sweeter than it is. Finishes dry with nice acidity. Don't have enough to last the summer, that is for sure. (917 views)
