2007 Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape) 1/30/2010randyjc90

90, but with more potential. This was surprisingly deeply-flavored and not entirely integrated. Still showing its youth, but with plenty of dark fruit flavors. Tasted twice, but still relatively acidic both times. Patience will be a virtue with this wine. (140 views)

2007 Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape) 11/26/2009Night Train89

Opened (not decanted) about an hour before consumption (with traditional Thanksgiving dinner). A little shy on the nose. Good, zin-like berries. Not as much meatiness, minerals or bramble as I had expected. Decent finish, and it matched up well with turkey, dressing, etc. Although it's approachable now, I think it will benefit from more time in the bottle. No hurry - it has the structure to last a long time. (548 views)

A very nice modern-style Chateauneuf-du-Pape that is drinking beautifully now. This is not going to be one of the longest-lived 2007 CdPs, but it is fruity, balanced and seductive wine for current drinking and for several years to come. (780 views)

2007 Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape) 11/12/2009Marc88

Very grapey - sweet raspberries and blueberries and toffee apple - quite zin like in some respects. In the mouth clear sur maturite elements - sweet raspberry jammy character, round in the mouth with hints of thyme. The wine has very good length and great balance. Structurally this is a sound wine. All in all for me a touch commercial in style in a slightly easy going open style (747 views)

2007 Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape) 11/5/2009zimmy07

really good young CnDP. Very meaty wine with a heavy influence of grenache. I pick up light soy, mineral and a lavender undertone. Ultra rip but with a really solid smokey backbone. Best 2007 CnDP I have had for under $50 (889 views)

2007 Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape) 8/21/2009chitowncdpguy

Soft but pleasant nose of dark fruit. Not as much fruit on the palate, but spicy, maybe a little bit of licorice. Medium length finish shows drying tannins. Very good. (1139 views)
