Jammy style. Full body red Rhône blend. Lots of red fruit, wet stone, dusty tannins, medium acidity. Day two, the jam receded, allowed the acidity and tannins to emerge for a more balanced wine, still black cherry and wet stone, but with a little lychee.

bright , warm, and mellow. The initial flavor is strongly of stone fruit. The flavor dissipates quickly to a mellow finish.

I have not had many of this type of wine before. I do love the mouth feel and the flavor continues for a very long time. Wish I had more.

Lovely leather musk nose. Generally very nice big chalky fruity wine but a bit extra acid and a soapy tone.

Last of 4. Excellent QPR and if I could have done it again, I would have purchased a case.

Oak is still evident with hints of vanilla but it is in the background to the blackberry, pepper, olives and smoke. Everything is in balance and nicely integrated. Should hold here for 3 or so years.

Paired well with baked ham, scalloped potatoes, haricots verts. 2nd bottle with dinner and was maybe even better than the 1st that was 2X the price (Central Coast CA Pinot). 5 Star QPR for sure. Did not taste like a lot of Oregon Pinots (cherry cola). Very much enjoyed.

Excellent Mourvèdre! Opened an hour before dinner. Grilled some steaks and poured. Needed another 20 minutes to open up but then it was great

BYO at Cochon NOLA. Terrific Willamette Pinot with lovely red fruit. Richer than typical but balanced. Should settle down nicely in a few years.

This was a bit of a strange one but really grew on me over the course of the evening. Definitely pretty tough, dense, and austere for the region, but that's not to say it's imbalanced, just a little challenging.

The nose is especially tense, a little tiny bit of reduction but that's not the main vibe- it's more about a very very dark, even dank kind of bitter black licorice, damp stone, menthol, even slightly rubbery tone. The fruit is there on the nose, but it's buried deep beneath. Tiny little pops of salty raspberry, incredibly laced with minerals and fairly shy.

The palate was perhaps one of the clearest examples of how the nose and palate can differ in a wine; here the fruit was dramatically more present, with a slow, long bloom of beautiful pure black cherry expanding across the tongue. It was still probably one of the most "minerally" reds I've tried in general, that elusive but distinct kind of cooling damp stone and salty accent kind of vibe. Really delicious, although the structure was also surprisingly harsh, pretty gritty and raw for any Pinot.

Unique and ultimately successful, more so than the others I've tried that were done in a *somewhat* similar style. In the end, I've had much better for the price, but if you're looking for a seriously "minerally" red, this is definitely a good example of what that means for me.

This is lovely garnet colored wine offer fresh red fruit & candied aroma's. This is light soft red delivering little in the way of flavor concentration. I think it might even be lighter than a Pinot Noir. Even though the flavor concentration is light, you still pick up flavor notes of strawberry, sweet raspberries & Bing cherries. The tannins & acid are low, which for me makes it a go to wine for Italian food. Had this bottle with a red penne alla vodka dish & it was fantastic.

Andrew pouring at the CWS fall club release. Fruit from the Jubilee vineyard. Lovely balanced gamay, very subtle earthiness characteristic. Felt a bit one dimensional though

Received this as a gift after being lost in a friend’s cellar. Clearly not as fresh as it once was and a bit oxidized but still interesting life left here. Golden in the glass, restrained nose, palate is dry, bruised apple, citrus, dried apricot, white peach, note of banana foster, acidity is high, medium body, long finish, alcohol is high and a bit out of balance presenting hot.

P & P. But tasting note made now 2 hours after opening and from second glass. Black Cherry forest floor/mushroom. It already tastes more earthy an hour after my first pass. Tannins are medium with well balanced acidity, noticeable but not unpleasant oak. It seems higher to me than the 13.5 alcohol would suggest，but maybe it’s cause I am drinking it at room temp 77. Will chill it for a bit and come back to it. Very nice value at 25 with 4 years age on it.

Bottle a hefty 1351g. No capsule at least. Moderately intense aromas, a little lifted, dark fruit and earth. Dry, with moderate acidity paired with some bitterness on entry, moderate to elevated dusty tannins, medium-bodied, 13.5% abv. The tannins are drying, grainy and grippy all at once, without being pronounced. Subdued fruit, quite saline and a little bitter through the finish.
