Very well blended, with good light fruits, balanced acid, medium long finish. This last bottle was just starting to fade on the second day (which had not been the pattern). But, no hint of being on the downslope when opened. I think that Alsatian whites are still one of the wine world's great values. |

En bouche, l'acidité est faible et le sucre de perception moyennement élevé (même si le site du producteur mentionne un degré faible de sucres résiduels). Notes of slightly bitter honey, a touch of caramelized banana, and lemon curd. The finish is full of caramel and sweetness (as opposed to sweet caramel) with a hint of cola and goes on forever. Delicious - this is really aging well and my guess is that is can still improve a bit. |
