4/17/2024 - Capt Cutlass Likes this wine: 91 pointsCherry cola nose. Sweet strawberry and raspberry bonbon with sour cherry. Smooth texture, mid weight for a Pinot. Very satisfying and with blood orange zest lingering. Not sure this can improve. |

4/12/2024 - Javachip Likes this wine: 90 pointsAllowed to breathe in glass 1 hour. Clear deep garnet-blood red color with bricking at the rim. Lovely notes of red berries, red plums and their liqueurs; cigar humidor, green tobacco, sage, earthy mushrooms, with hints of tidal mud flats, meat juice. Mostly tertiary at this point. Like a traditional old claret. |

4/11/2024 - Darwine Likes this wine: 98 pointsHitting its stride now. Lots of dark fruit on the nose with some earthy elements - maybe leather. The taste followed with beautiful full bodied dark fruit with some beautiful layered tannins that led you to a glorious finish. The acid balance here made this finish spectacular. A great wine and a beutiful example of Napa Cabernet!! My steak was all that better!!! |

4/5/2024 - RockinCabs wrote: 94 pointsNose: Mint, blackberry, dark plum and some garden notes. Potting soil and leather. Palate: Attack of blackberry and mint that is reminiscent of a Heitz Martha's vineyard, followed by currant, violets and cedar. Finish: long and minty with more secondary leather and soil notes. |

4/7/2024 - Raywilliams420 Likes this wine: 93 pointsInitially the nose was bursting , an explosion of power. Decided to drink 3 hours later. Nose had toned down but still smelled very rich. The wine sits on the palate for at least two mins. If not more. Tannins Aren’t bold but they do linger on the palate the whole time during the aftertaste. Lil spice comes through but somewhat subtle. The fruit isn’t bold either. Very balanced wine but not as soft as it possibly could be five to ten years from now. Red fruits initially from first few seconds. Then dark fruits the whole time after that. But not bold dark fruits. Not blackberry but more dark plum Alcohol isn’t big either doesn’t need food but taste better with something that isn’t heavily seasoned. In my opinion u can drink now with some air applied to the wine or u can wait few more years an it even mellows out a lil more an starts to take on a more feminine role while still being concentrated an masculine. 2 people found this helpful, do you? Big nose of red fruit; poured a deep dark red. No bricking that I could tell. Soft tannins on the palate, and plush, velvety texture. But a little be thinner than the 2002. Both had very similar profiles. Delicious. 30th Anniversary bottling. |

4/7/2024 - Philip67 Likes this wine: 94 pointsThis is classy. Classic structure mire akin to a ripe Bordeaux than a Cali Cab. This is medium to full bodied, with a robust structure. Definitely dark fruit here - damson, black sour cherry. Leather and oak notes, along with some cedar and a touch of cake spices. Long with some complexity. Drinking now, will be better in 10 years. |

4/6/2024 - dougchavez Does not like this wine: 60 pointsSeemed a bit too tannic for a Pinot. Notes of cherry and vanilla. Was not a big fan but maybe it was something with this bottle. Or I've come to like the Twomey pinot too much! |

3/31/2024 - Big Juicy Red Likes this wine: NRNeeds 3+ hours to fully open up, then flavors and alcohol are much better integrated. Before that, the 14.1 ABV was too noticeable for me. Also, the earthy notes come out to play then, leading to a fuller (although still big and on the rich side) wine. Certainly nice, but not my fave. |

4/1/2024 - Capt Cutlass Likes this wine: 95 pointsAfter a two hour devant. In a really good place now. Surprised me with its elegance despite not being a top flight vintage. There is refined opulence with obvious Cab Sauv character and just a dash of prunes but less than the 2008 which has a more cooked quality to it. Note to me: drink before its 20 year mark. |
