Light gold color. 2oz pour x 2 over 75 minutes. This was tight and muted on the nose initially, it took a good 30 minutes or more to show its stuff, but when it did, it was wonderful as expected. Earthy, orange peel, lemon emerges, lime hints, subtle butterbrickle. The palate has a depth and power, rich but liner with stylish minerality, lemon-lime, excellent length. This evolved so nicely after a rather subtle start. 93+pts.

Subdued nose of graphite, smoke, and stone. Focused minerality in the mouth, with mouth-watering acidity and crispness. There's not much fruit here, nor has this seen much oak; an atypical Moreau. Need to try again in 3-4 years.

A very nice Les clos. On the nose is very mineral. Salt, and stones, lemon, lemongrass, grapefruit,a small touch of oak(100%used barrels) seems there is no malolactic fermentation this year. Nutty and almond with long finish.Change and develop in the glass. high acidity and medium body. This is the most mineral les clos from Drouhin that i ever taste.
The wine is going strong and will age further at least the next 10years

This wine is drinking nicely now. Smooth edges, apple and tropical fruit notes with a hint of mineral. Less steely than most chablis.

Very good balanced example of Les Clos. Great power of fruit, mineralt, and acidity. No signs of pre-mox. This bottle is young and could have gone longer in a good cellar. Impressed by this bottle!

Rich fresh aromas of apple, pear, and citrus with a dusty element. Nice crisp wine with good lemon and lean apple flavors. Medium weight, quite good, although perhaps not profound as somewhat primary and just a tad compact. Solid wine.

Similar to the C Moreau les Clos tried a few days ago, but slightly smokier, weightier and riper. Lots of great apple aromas and flavors with good spice support and impressive concentration.

Yet Another 60th Birthday Dinner (The Hills of Northern California): Medium yellow. Some ripe citrus juxtaposed against even more oyster shell and brothy notes. Rich but very well constituted with a convincing Chablis finish of firm acidity and minerality. From both of my experiences with this wine, I think Fevre hit a home run with this cuvee, which outpaces both the Dauvissat and Raveneau Clos in this weird, overly exotic vintage. None of those excesses could be found in this bottle.

Subtle lean sherry butterscotch scotch pear petrol nose. White and yellow stone fruit, tart lychee, crisp pear, citrus, saline, mineral, an oxidative note on the palate. Just an all around hint of pox that is mildly distracting, more apparent as the wine warmed. Decanted, less oxidative with time. Enjoyable with a good chill but some complexity is lost. Last of three bottles. Drink up if these bottles are in fact representative.

Cellar and Vineyard Visit with Domaine Christian Moreau (Chablis France): Tasting at domaine. This is big, muscular and almost meaty wine, which is rare for Chablis. Long and powerful, with everything in balance. This kept getting fresher with more time in glass.

Cellar and Vineyard Visit with Domaine Christian Moreau (Chablis France): Tasting at domaine. Flowers, spice and great ripe apple make this a summer garden party in your glass. Great concentration and balance. Even better now vs when tasted last year, this might be the finest wine I can ever recall from this producer. 94-95 point potential.

Cellar and Vineyard Visit with Domaine Christian Moreau (Chablis France): Tasting at domaine. This comes across as slightly riper and shorter vs the Clos just tasted. Great fruit density on nose and palate, but less balance and finesse just now, I'd certainly cellar this a few years before trying. But certainly still 90+point potential here.
