Enjoyed with made from scratch ravioli last weekend. All i remember is the beautiful earth tones and pure red fruit. A great winery to be a club member. Can't wait to drink again.

Beautiful nose of lemon, iodine, and strong minerality. Some white pepper. Still a bit of puppy fat, will follow up in a few years.
Crisp acidity, great mouthfeel. Medium - full body, creamy texture.

a few years in the bottle did this wine some good. Still showing bright red fruit flavors; strawberry, cherry, but a bit more integrated now. Picked up a little bit of spice. Others have mentioned soft oak, I picked up a little cedar.

A bit too much oak at this stage, but there is a good underlying streak of acidity. Hopefully everything will integrate over the next 2-3 years.

Plush mouthfeel, red fruit acidity, well balanced, no hint of alcohol. Interestingly, oak became more prominent over first 60 minutes, then faded.

First night it was average. I forgot that I opened it and came back to it 2 days later. Wow, what a great mistake. It was bold, fruit forward, minimal acidity, and so smooth and silky. Open this open now and let itnair for a long time, or revisit the bottle in a few years.

Good balance between juiciness and acidity. Much like the raspberries we had for dessert. Although the salinity and savoriness that I look for in the most compelling of Pinots, wasn't quite there, this was a very enjoyable wine.

Young and light in color, with candied and perfumed strawberry and raspberry. There is a lot to this wine, and I suspect that it will evolve into a great wine in another couple of years.

Not typical- very low in alcohol for Macphail, but a lovely 2011. Earthy, cooked cherries, savory. Takes a little time to open up- this is a brooding wine, as opposed to its 2012 super lively fruit forward vintage. Nice representation of sonoma from this year.

Had side by side with a 2012 Gap's Crown with lamb on Easter. This was spicier with higher acidity on the finish, comparitively. It was very lively with a long finish, and the better pair with the lamb we were eating. Sojourn pinot's are just fantastic.

Actually opened this by acident because Travis grabbed the wrong bottle (meant to open the Sonoma Coast). I thought it might be tight, however, after a hour and a half decant, this was singing. Cherry, cola, and a hint of earthy complexity on the nose. Medium weight, super smooth and great depth. Cherry, leather, and spice. The finish isn't heavy, but it is mouth coating with just a little bit of acidity at the end and the flavor lasts forever. I could drink this forever.

Medium straw color. Soft melon and pear on the palate. I had higher expectations for this. Benziger's Signaterra line normally is more distinctive and interesting than their Family offering. I found this to be a bit flabby and one dimensional. Thought this would have a bit more acidity. The good news is that this was certainly not over oaked.

Drank side by side with 2013 Ancillary pinot from same vineyard. This was the "lighter" of the two wines. Maybe a little more acid. Less depth. Very tasty and went great with food. Just a little overshadowed by the Ancillary.

Quite atypical for a Sonoma chard. Golden yellow, oily, on the nose lots of honey, grass, alcohol, dairy. On the palate quite complex with much gooseberries, developed and rounded, still some stinging acidity, salt, sun, sesame, persimon. Lingering, quite intensive. Interesting, but perhaps a bit past its prime.
