No formal notes - drank at Asti with Matt and Lara. Very nice red fruit, with a bit of earth, licorice, and tar. Still has time but drinking pretty well now.

No formal notes. Poured into decanter. Agree with others that this still has/needs time. Lighter in body, although wonderful balance. Hold on my others bottles for 3-5 more years.

This was tighter than drum on the first night with a real funky nose. Night two opened up to show nice red cherry fruit and some mineral underpinnings. Good balance and lots of structure. This should age well for another 5-7 and drink pretty well. Seems to be good QPR.

Agreeing with Burgundy Al on all points here - This took about two hours in the decanter to open. Real nice but needs a bit more time to come into it's happy spot. Wait another 3-5 years.

No formal notes - red cherry, mineral, roses on the nose and palate, along with a bit of forrest floor. Very well balanced and drinking quite well. I wish I had more bottles - seems like it should have a long life in front of it still.

Very crisp and clean... The zero dosage is probably not my game however, this does show decent balance. If a bit austere for my taste. This used to be good QPR but Garagiste has raised the prices to where I don't know if I should continue to purchase.

No rating as I opened in the name of science... Being Fourrier this was most excellent. Having said that, it was like most 2012's I have had so far - big, tough, and not all too subtle - which is the antithesis of the delicacy I usually associate with Fourrier's wine. Along with other '12's, I think this is one to age a bit longer than usual (maybe like the 2005's?).

Surprising this one.... Has really come around since last bottle. No formal notes. Nose of bright red cherry, black tea, tobacco(??). Palate much the same. Very nice balance (in stark contrast to the Cali cab we drank earlier) great fresh fruit, licorice, with plenty of acidity and a fine dusting of tannin. Seems as if it should drink well for another 5 or more years.

I pretty much agree with all that DCWINO says here - note that after a two hour decant and then more time in the glass, over the course of dinner, this did start to show better. It seems the oak might be starting to loose it's impact and this will drink better in the future. Wait another 3-5 on the next bottle.

Nose is licorice, menthol, and some dark fruit. Drinking perfectly. Developing tertiary notes of black tea, cedar and licorice, but still with some darker fruit. Very long and lovely finish with a fine powder of tannin. Good mid palate weight and lovely mouth feel.

The nose is all honey covered biscuits; big and room filling. A note of floral and maybe some ginger spice. The palate is that coupled with a nice lemon zest and a bit of stone. A big creamy champy but well balanced and super good. Need to buy more.

Paired with Meyer lemon coconut cream pie. Nose is honey, lemon and burnt butterscotch. Taste is much the same but with notes of Mandarin orange and burnt creme brûlée. A bit soft and could use some more acidity. A nice desert wine none the less.

Opened at this very young age in the name of science.... Definitely needs air and drank better on day two. Nose has candied pineapple, lemon, and a real nice floral (Hyacinth?) sweetness.

The palate is much the same as the nose with a strong whip of acidity and a very densely packed mid palate. Finish is long and topped off with a bit of mineral/stone. This should age very well and be ready in another 5-7.

The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle.

This was brought to an Italian tasting with the Burgundy group - no formal notes. Popped and poured. Big powerful and rather overwhelming but with nice tones of red and dark fruit, tea and savory spices. This is real nice juice but needs 3-5 more years I think.

Wow! A happy dance this wine is... Not a hint of the prior bottles notes of plumminess or past prime. Dark bing cherries, eucalyptus, sage, and cedar. Milk chocolate. Sweet nice fruit in balance with good structure and acid. Creamy mouth feel. This bottle seems young with many years ahead.

A profound wine.... Medium to dark golden. Popped and poured. With air, over a couple hours, this really opened up - I probably should have decanted for two + hours.

Nose developed grapefruit, honey, lavender - Juicyfruit! Almost bone dry but very densely packed; Paradoxically there wasn't a lot of immediate fruit. Ginger, citrus, and mineral.... Amazingly this made an 05 levet Cote Rotie seem almost light in comparison.

I do think my other two bottles will hold for a while but this is mighty fine right now.
