Typical Howell Mountain Cab. Floral nose with dark fruit and maybe a touch of cassis. Medium to full body pallate with a rich smooth finish. Not a wine to blow your socks off but still a good wine.

Again this wine was killer. I wish that I could find more!! Very dark color, cherries and spice on the nose and followed into the mouth. Very silky feel, spicey, dark fruits, tobacco. Finish went on and on. I know that this is the same as my last note but so was the wine.

Dark ruby color. Nose of chocolate, cherries, and plum. Palate follows the nose with some earthy spice as well. Pretty good mouth feel with good tannins. Excellent finish. I let mine breath for almost 6 hours...seemed to be a perfect amount of air time without decanting.

Tons of tobacco at first and the tannins are hard...then after about 3 hours everything came together. Very dark wine with dark cherries, the typical Mourvedre strawberry, gamey, and still the earthiness of tobacco. If you drink it now...let it breath for at least 3 hours.

Drank this time with home made pasta with Berkshire Pork Neck Ragu. Still tons of fruit flavor backed by that earthiness of the Northern Rhone. 3 bottles left...I hope I can hold off and age one for a few years.

Again after the heat wears off you have a nice wine. At least for an organic wine. Not too bad for the price.

AGAIN.....This wine is awesome...Man I can't get over how good this wine is! Dark inky color, cocoa and dark cherries on the nose, great consentration of smooth tannins, spice, plums, and cherries on the tongue (extremely well balanced I might add), and the finish...by my watch was 50+ seconds! The body of this wine is full and shows such great potential for aging. In 10 years this wine will be drop dead! Penfold's Grange is a comparison but to me this is THE #1 shiraz.

This wine was huge. I really liked this effort from Caduceus. Way to go Keenan. Out of the country for sure. But there was so much to enjoy on both the nose and the palate.
Color was good. Dark blood red.
Nose was very nice with some oak, earth, and black cherry, maybe some fig newtons?
Palate had a nice mouth feel with firm tannins, some lactic effect maybe from the oak (not too much though), asian spice, and dark friuts. The finish was mid-long.
I really wish I had more of this wine. We opened it and decanted it for about 2 hours before we consumed the wine.
I bet I would have given it more points had the wax not been so damn difficult to remove!!!

I could give this wine a 91 or 92 if the finish were longer. Good color, cassis and black cherry witha hint of vanilla on the nose, more cassis on the palate, smooth light tannins but good mouth feel, medium to short finish.
Great QPR

The color is dark ruby. The nose is vegetal at first and then you get sweet cherry. The tannins are fairly smooth and the wine has a medium body. I taste dark fruits wrapped in leather and wood. Short to mid-short finish.
