Lots of CO2 and bubbles. Golden ripe wheat color. Nose is full of overripe garden apples. Very enjoyable nose which turns into a hint of grapefruit after a while. As it heats up, the alcohol shows a bit too much. It is obvious the wine shows best cold. Palate is easy, calm and balanced applefruit without the most intense and concentrated flavor. Light and likeable. A bit alcohol shows the same way as on the nose, increasingly as the wine heats up. Pretty good bone dry cider!

Light straw yellow color. Petroleum on the nose. A very strange and volatile scent, as if a bit faulty and waiting to blow away in the decanter. Taste is sweet and full and lovely and has an exquisite balance. This is thick and good. Apricots, peaches, strange and different and powerful palate.

After a couple of hours the strange and sharp note is gone from palate and nose. But I am not impressed. This wine has got scores on CT that I do not understand. Good, yes. But fantastic and earth-shattering? No. Not today and not for me. Would not buy again.

Straw yellow. Smells like pineapple, pear, gooseberries and after a while in the glass; seaspray and mussles. Palate is fresh and lively with lots of balanced chardonnayfruit and splendid length and concentration. Wonderful wine for the price, but nothing against the Pouilly Fuisse we tasted it against.

Nose of lemons and citrus fruits. Palate is concentrated and thick with cream and more lemons. Very yummy. Steely minerality and lemon candy. Has this one been modified with citrus-acid? Nevertheless a good wine!

Still very young. This one has started to develop signs of aging on both the nose and the palate, but right now the whole wine has got a rustic note over it. The fruit is not as sweet and laidback as you would wish. It's hiding behind the tannins and a slight acidic tinge on the palate. A bit reserved and muted right now. Very balanced all in all but I get a strong sense of masculine village terroir here, together with an alltogether too young wine. Wait 3 years.

Very good wine but clearly too young. Prominent tannins and fruit battling for room. I think they need a couple of years to become friends, I guess. Right now this is a wine with a very good potential but not open and ready for business quite yet. Drink 2017 and later.

Nose gives me an impression of age and lots of spices, bonfire smoke, bold '08-acidity and lots of secondary aromas. Very good and enjoyous! The palate is a complete acidic shock. Thin and fresh, but full of an overwhelming but actually quite enjoyable and slightly balanced acidity. Woohoo!! The tannins are prominent at first, but after an hour the taste comes together and the acidity actually works! Love it, but would not buy a new bottle :-)

Must say, I noticed tonight this wine is over-oaked. Really good and full of depth and wonderful fruit, but actually a bit much oak. I have a singular last bottle in the cellar but it really needs time to integrate the oaky notes before I will try it again. Too much. Really..

Good vintage. The wine is more powerful and balanced than expected from the appellation. But there is something wrong here. I don't think the wine is bad in any way, but it's angular and bitter on the palate, and has an overdeveloped nose.

First impression is slightly underwhelming. A bit short on the palate and a bit watery, but I've had Mortet wines needing some air earlier, so I wait 30 minutes. Now the wine shows as it should. A wonderful spicy and seductive nose, and a palate full of intense flavor and a lingering wonderful finish. There is still something hidden and unfulfilled in this wine. Feels slightly angular and not the firework of tastes and emotions usually found in Mortet. I think this is the vintage showing. Quite prominent tannic bite but in no way unbalanced. A very good wine but not stellar tonight.

Golden color. Nose has a bit dusty wooden cabin in it, underneath the classical riesling nose. Tastes wonderful. Very thick and creamy riesling. Perfect balance between acidity and sweetness. Dense and heavy palate. Very good and surprisingly serious. This one is in a sweet spot now, and will stay there for years to come.

This wine is always a dream. Flowers and sun on the nose. Soft fruity raspberry candy. On the palate there is very elegant power here. The rest of the people around the table don't quite get it. I find their lack of faith disturbing. They think there is too little power here, and they don't see the charm in this infinite elegance. The fruityness marinates my sensory systems.. Bliss!

Opened and tasted, then aired for a couple of hours and tasted again. No improvement. Shut down. Put the cork back in and left alone for 24 hours. That's more like it. Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, pencilwood and dry hay. Wonderful nose. Just as I remember it. Now the depth and power is where it should be. Lots of beautifully integrated tannins. Big fruit dominated by blackberries, cherries and blackcurrant. I find this bottle slightly less dazzling than my last, but still world class.
