Decanted 1hr there was a touch of funk in the decanter but once it was poured into the glass it was singing right of the bat. Wonderful nose, spice, full of pepper, cherry. Long silky finish with bacon fat, mocha, and dark chocolate. Reading the notes below, it does not seem to be liked as well as I did, but I thought it was absolutely fantastic IMO. |

The tannins have smoothed out nicely with great texture, lot's of chocolate with hints of vanilla and strawberry. A really nice wine!! |

It's color was DARK but great texture, it coats your mouth with the blueberries & then meat, bacon then spice with just a touch of heat. All in all outstanding, my best Saxum to date IMO |
