Event - Celebration - B-day (Seaport Village downtown San Diego, CA): Average, nothing notable. May be beyond its peak since this tasting is not as good as 1 year ago - even though vintner said it should peak between now and 2017. Bouquet minimal with cherry, peach. Taste somewhat simple (has lost some previous complexity), sweet, tangy long finish. At $22 a bottle, seemed slightly overpriced - even though price is lower than 2 years ago. $10 for flight of 6 wines. Tasted at San Pasqual tasting room in scenic Seaport Village - San Diego.

Nothing notable - would not drink again. Bouquet and taste some apple and pear. Drank with pan bread with spicy sausage and ham and Beef Bourguignon. OK by itself. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Appellation is in southwest corner of Chablis - limestone soil - is Burgundy, but not Chardonnay . Tasted at Bo-Beau Restaurant for birthday celebration. $15 for flight of 3 wines.

A tasty, moderately buttery, fairly complex chardonnay. Bouquet and taste vanilla, hazelnut, butter, smooth. Very good on its own, but was an excellent compliment to several different Lavashes with various cheeses and barbecue chicken. May improve with age, since it is a young wine and is already very good. $11 / glass at KnB Wine Cellars - great value for $16 flight of 3 wines.

Average dinner wine. Would not drink by itself. Moderately sweet balance - a bit of tartness and acidic backend. It is possible, but not sure it will get any better since this is second bottle we tried about 1 year apart. Lodi wines have not impressed us thus far. Drank with baked ham, cinnimon yams, and salad with vinaigrette - all went OK with wine. Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas! (A wondrous time when the God of the universe stepped into history to save us, and showed His amazing love!)

Nearing its peak - still showing some youth with a bit of excessive fruitiness starting to hint at complexities. Not as good as 2010 vintage...yet. Bouquet and taste balanced, sweet, tasty, long finish - fruit, spice, leather, tangy. Moderately chewy texture. Versatile - very good by itself and went moderately well with everything we tasted with it in various combinations, but did not seem to accentuate tastes as well as the 2010 vintage did - beef sausage, turkey sausage, Dijon French mustard, several mustards, sharp cheddar cheese, onion cheese, and pepper jack cheese. New Year's Eve celebration. Happy New Year! (God Is NOT Dead - saw the movie to start the new year.)

A nice experience - still seems to have substantial peak remaining. Very good with various foods and also by itself. Bouquet a strong berry, spice, vanilla, Cloves, anise. Taste big berry, some spice, nice moderately full finish. Taste went well with various combinations of comti cheese, Gouda cheese, gruyere cheese, muenster cheese, salami, prosciutto, barbecue sauce, French Dijon mustard, bruschetta, rustic bread. Not good with monterey jack cheese. Decent value at $16 to $18.
