dark red with ruby rim. beautiful aromas: dark cherry, blackberries, some violet. pure, clean and accurate. balanced palate: subtle liquorice, m+ bodied, good weight in middle, nice oak integration, chocolate and cream, firm tannins, medium finish with some sweet herbals. a modern and lush Central Otago, but it looks the first half burst too much and the 2nd half lost strength.

dark red, some deposits in bottom. concentrated dark fruits, dark chocolate, fruity sweet, strong oak flavour. dense and large scale. supple tannins, decanted for one hour, still too strong oak, obvious alcohol heat, not integrated at all. long dry finish, with a little bitterness.

good on its density and concentration, however, too heavily oaked.
