The is an initial burst of moderate acidity which settles quickly leaving sour cherries and spice on the palate whilst remaining surprisingly soft feeling. An easy drinking red with a bit of interest to go with some Italian food. |

Light bodied in the mouth with tangy flavours of candied peel and spice with a pleasant sweetness. Quite persistent aftertaste. I’m glad that I caught this bottle in time, past it’s prime but still a decent glass to accompany the cheese board. If you have any time to drink up. |
