At Salte Creek Grille in Princeton, NJ. The wine was good when once we got it to a drinkable state. There were notes of blackberry, blueberry Nd sweet fine tannins. It was just an ok pairing with the ribs, as the sauce was too sweet. Not as good as the 2010 vintage.

The wine itself came out at 70 plus degrees. Apparently they store the red wines at room temp, in a room next to the kitchen. After we got an ice bucket to cool down the wine and an extra glass (to pour the warm glass on top off), the wine was better.

Ok value for $61 at a restaurant.

Drink now or hold 1-2 years

Last bottle. Very tasty wine with cherry currants, tobacco , black fruit, menthol, and some leather. Great with lamb and herbal stuffing. Great QPR for $20 / bottle. Drink now.

A tasty Margaux. Initially a little thin out of the bottle, but it put on weight with 30 minutes open (pop & pour, no decant). Lovely dark fruit, blackcurrants, cassis, leather and some lovely Margaux perfume. Best with our roast herbal Heritage chicken, which was a great pairing. Shared with Michele C. Jennifer K, Jen R and me in Princeton. Drink now or for the next few years.

A tasty wine. Initially a little closed but opened up with 30-40 minutes of air time (pop and pour, no decant) to reveal lovely fruit flavors (cherry, raspberry and cranberry), a little spice and some fine tannins. Very good with our roast leg of Australian lamb leftovers. Drink now or hold for a year. Excellent QPR at our $9.44 / bottle purchase price!

Lovely forward fruit with flavors of cherry, strawberry and a touch of cola. Very good with our grilled loin of lamb, which brought out the red fruit, chocolate and a touch of sage on the finish. Tasty now. We paid $20 and is very good QPR at that price point.

100% French oak with only 20% new oak. Only 36 barrels made in 2010.

Excellent with the lamb burgers, which was a better pairing than the buffalo. Drink now but could age 1-2 years more. With Andrea B, Jen and Tash in Old Town Scottsdale at 5th and Wine.
