Past it’s prime it seems. This bottle was a bit flat and muted. Drink ‘em if you got them.

i moved 2 years ago & this got lost in the shuffle. I'm glad it did... Much more integrated & the jam is gone. I'm still missing those tongue curling tannins but this is very drinkable.

Very dry with a crisp acidity. Beautiful creamy texture after a nose with hints of strawberry. Pairs very well with grilled chicken or fish.

Great QPR in a classic sangio blend. A bit hot on first opening it settles nicely in the glass. Mildly disjointed favors at this young stage it should come together nicely with a little bottle age

Rebecca's 21st birthday... and this is why you buy a cabernet to age. Dark red color, with a nose that is both spicy and floral and undertones of soft chocolate. The tannins are still drying but well integrated and pass across your tongue like a velvet towel. This wine really shows more on the flavor than the nose. The oak is well integrated and this wine shows superb balance and good structure. Hints of black pepper lightly overlay the cherry and blackberry flavors with a hint of chocolate flavor.

It's got a creamy blueberry taste with soft tannins. Too short on the finish for where I think a wine at this price point should be. I enjoyed it but I won't remember it.

Wonderfully smooth and drinking well young ... this wine is full of bright fruit aromas & tastes typical of a well made zin. Not as integrated as I'd like at this young stage, but it has the acid structure and tannin backbone suggest this wine is one to sit on.

Tight and muted on first opening, this screams for a significant decant, but nonetheless has a wonderful velvety balance. Classic Cabernet that is drinks nicely once open ... a few years in the bottle will reward those who are patient.

Smoke & brandy on the nose when first opened but the taste is much more muted. Very closed on first approach with raisins dominating and a hint of vanilla and caramel. Definitely needs more bottle time ... I'm looking forward to see if this opens up over the next few days.

After sitting on the counter with a stopper for 3 days, the difference in this wine is profound! The fruit is much more pronounced and the depth of flavor is tremendous. Still quite the baby, I'll be sitting on my remaining bottles for quite some time.

"This wine is a classic "vintage port" type of port (ie., not ruby). Flavors are rich and complex with lots of anise and brambleberry in both the mouth and the nose. Additionally, in the mouth are great notes of sour cherry and vanilla from the oak. The nicest thing about this wine is that it is wonderfully "round" in the mouth.....just perfectly balanced between acidity and alcohol and tannins and sweetness. Both varietals show through both distinctly and in complement to each other....the Touriga adding fruit and structure and the Tinta Madera adding body and richness."
