Yes, the first really good bottle: ripe and creamy in the nose with lots of fresh cherries. than a lovely midtaste with roasted coffee beans, a bit chocolate and a good acidity; in the aftertaste creamy, vanilla, round and ripe tannins; 90 points for the next bottle?

The third day this wine really opened and found its balance. Starting flowey and quite innocent the evolution of this wine continued and at day three the elements were integrated: lovely fresh nose with depth, volume in the midtaste (round and balanced) ending in a very nice aftertaste with a slight bitterness.

Too young, so a bit severe, but after three days showing purity, persistance and a long aftertaste; have patience with this wine.

Openend thinking it was the Cuvée Manon, recorked and about two weeks later this wine was a perfect match with a salad and farmyard chicken. Very elegant syrah in the nose and the taste very well lifted by a ripe acidiy, neraly creamy, still fresh, lovely.

I've decided not to give points to this wine, a kind of Sheakspearean drama, nearly too much of everything and consequently the balance was lost. Too ripe, slightly oxidized, a big body, quite dramatic. I'm not sure, but I think I still have a bottle to retaste.

Darn, awfull, considering its origin Meursault; the blatant wood painted upon the wine covers the character. If this is not a representative bottle I gladly read the notes.

Not for the sissies, rough, but honest and very classic, good midtaste, bit onedimensional at the end. I haven't waste a sip of this oldfashioned cognac; from the collection of my friend Loek.

The ripe citrus backbone supports this wine perfectly and the pure sweetness makes the balance. Still young this wine will mellow into something very airy (but with a good concentration to keep the feet on the floor).

First day: basket of red fruit; second day: a bit low keyed; third day: the returning of the basket full of fruit. This wine is pure and balanced, has a mid body and ripe tannins, but the winner: that lovely fresh ripe red fruit.

Landed 1987, bottled (by Tanners?) 2002. The citrus backbone in the cognac showed the elegance of this Hine. A touch dry, hints of small flowers in the bouquet and an aftertaste with a very good balance.
With some days of aeration this cognac can gain a point more.
Thanks to Frans de Beer and his Adriana this cognac was the best example to end a very nice dinner and evening.

6/8/2015 - FransS wrote: 94 points

After the Henry Pellé '11 La Croix au Garde, Frans de Beer made two steps up with Didier Dageneau. Everything in the plus: complexity, depth in the bouquet, just a touch of salt, very lively acidity, extremely balanced and an unbelievable power you recognize in the aftertaste.
This wine has the components to live at least 10 years from now.
Although 'salin' (salty) is a buzz word, specially in France, where you find it nowadays in nearly each white wine, I wasn't so lucky to recognize it, but in this wine it was obvious and charming.
