For a 2011 this wine is off the charts. A little young, we decanted for 2 hours. well balanced and great fruit. This is in the top 5% of 2011 Napa cabs. I think it should drink fantastic for a decade.

For the price this wine is insanely good. Still way too young, needs 2-3 hours decanting or another 3-5 years in bottle. Well balanced with great fruit. Not a benchmark, but a textbook Barbaresco

For the vintage this wine is absolutely fantastic. Still has a decade of enjoyment in front of it. Stellar balance. Nose emits charcoal, tar, dark fruits. Took about an hour to start to open.

When i first opened this it i was disappointed. It was tannic and high in acid. Then after 2 hours it really started to open up. Violets and charcoal on the nose, beautiful mid-palate and an elegant finish. I think this has another 4-6 years of life, but great today but needs at least 2 hours in a decanter.

At first felt a little overripe. After about 2 hours of decanting this wine started to really come together. Nice smoke/charcoal, with cherry jolly rancher. I think this wine is just at its peak as it has shed its tannins and lack of acid/backbone with limit ageibility from here

This was a very pleasant cab, especially considering the challenging vintage. Good mellow fruit, and no green notes. Not a lot of structure here, and probably doesn't have a ton of life beyond 3 years, but good value for a Napa Cab.

I was absolutely blown away at the quality of the 1998 Bon Pasteur, at nearly 17 years. Still youthful, but showing all its qualities. I think this might even be better than the 2000 LBP i had last month. The tannins have melted away leaving velvet like dark fruit, smoke, tar. Finish goes on for 25-30 seconds. Incredible.

I was expecting more from this wine given the petigree of the vineyard and past Landmarks. Rich dark fruit, smoke, tar and charcoal on the nose. This didn't possess great richness in the mouth and the finish was lacking. The wine is still holding up and should drink fine over the next 3 years.

Hands off, way too early. I think this could end up being a amazing wine. Still a baby and hasn't fully come together. I wouldn't touch until 2020. But now showing white stone fruits, slate, and smoke. Great acidity, will drink well for 20+ years.

Decanted 1 hour before first glass. At first this wine was closed just showing some lite red fruits. Over the course of the next 3 hours this wine came together perfectly, the fruit started to come up to match the nice acidity and tannin. I would touch this bottle for at least 3 more years and this should drink for the next 5-8 perfectly.

An absolute beautiful wine. I personally didn't decant this long enough, it needed at least 3 hours before really showing itself. Tannins have been shed, leaving floral, strawberry, and scents of tar. This wine is at its prime.

Drank from Magnum. Beautiful wine, and holding up perfect from a so-so vintage. Has shed most of the tannins allowing the fruit to shine. I was blown away that this was still in the shape it was. No signs of significant aging in the glass.
