From half bottle, and probably the best bottle we have had of this. 3 years since we tried it last.
Good fruit, spice, a nutty almond feel. Now staring to fully round up and shed its 2003 difficult side. I wish other 2003s are starting to show as well too. 90

Family made wine, pretty much not for commercial use. Made in the village of Kato Drys in Cyprus.
Served at a wedding and thus had from quite a few bottles. Very consistent. Quite a fresh yet round wine, good fruit, surprisingly balanced and not overdone. Some oak, dark fruits, good acidity. Will not win a complexity contest but a pretty little number.

We had this on quite hot summer day by the sea this cannot qualify as a proper TN.
Quite a fresh, firm, linear wine. Good acidity, pure but also a bit low on the expression side. A good wine but hopefully a better TN next time.

Much like the 2012 we tried here pretty much a year ago this is not an overly sweet proposition. However unlike the 2012 this felt a bit bitter and difficult. As always good acidity is text book here but maybe a touch too much and there is very little of the fruit character. 85

Quite a light colour. Young and still very fresh, lemony, light oaky dynamics but mostly a clean, citrus profile with a good fatty edge. Very good for a generic wine. A few sharp edges here and there, a bitter touch on the finish sort of spoiled the otherwise very good performance. 88ish

Aperitif style, clean, mineral, firm, linear in a nice way and very focussed. Very dry and with only a few hints of a yeasty side. Lemony and crystal clear. Pretty solid aperitif and good with a variety of food. Really enjoyed the purity of this wine. 91

Double decanted and served 2 hours later. Just a touch of fine sediment.
The nose of this wine is at par with a 100 point wine (reminded us of the only Papies 100 the La Mouline 1983) so elegant, light red fruit, earthy complex and long. A recital of a nose. The palate is not at par albeit still very very good but has a few out of sync notes. Pretty healthy and excellent now and seems to have a decent life ahead of it. 95 and such a treat.

Quite young still but with a good open nose. Quite a bit on the fruit. The palate definitely has benefited from the long open and albeit a touch of dry tannin on the finish the rest is quite pleasant and well made as is to be expected by this level of producer. Pretty good but needs more time. 89-90

Opened and served. We would suggest some decanting to help the wine develop though.
Such a beautiful wine and a pure expression of Meursault albeit still a touch too fatyt to be perfect. One cannot help but forget that this is a "village" (Unless tat person was the one paying and then he/she never forgets). Has definitely evolved since last time we tried it (9/2013 Papies 92) and seems to be ageing nicely with no premox issues. Very good. 93

This is a masterpiece (easily the best bottle we have had so far in e attempts overthe last 6 yrs - Papies 92-93) and really a young wine still albeit with a lot of secondary characteristics. Double decanted (a bit of fine sediment so one needs to be a bit careful) and took to The Beast, London. A good 1.5hrs from open to consumption and by then the wine was singing.
A beautiful, classic nose (present from th epop of the cork), leather, light pepper, cedar, maybe tobacco at times. Open, very expressive nose and justa joy. On the palate it is still just about entering its drinking window and the wine has many more summers to live through. Stilll even not at peak, it has pretty nice fee, tannin is on the silky side and def has shed that 1996 wall of tannin feel. A few dry spots on the finish do jump out but this is a true classic. 95.

Needs its time to develop, would suggest maybe a 30 minute decant.
Opened for some friends and we just had a quick try so not a true TN (Thus no rating). Still a touch of oak. The wine is surprisingly young but not difficult of austere. Just a dry edge. Quite a rich ripe fruit, very supertuscuan in a way , modernist touch of course but quite a solid wine. We have a few more bottles so will comment fully next time. But definitely decant now and just about in its drinkign window

Needs it time to open up but still a wine of quality and well made. Much like last time (Papies 90) we really liked this for the level. Good fruit, strawberry, light earthy, lively, firm. A touch dry on the finish, light smoky, meaty side. Very nice and a solid 91.

Not sure what to make of this wine tbh. Was very acidic, green fruits, almost difficult. The Waitress had no clue when this was opened so not sure if it was a new/old one. Quite sharp maybe its the youth in it but really a perplexing wine.

Still on th efruit, yeat with an earthy, leathery side, cedar, tobacco and just excellent. A touch dry on the finish but vs price this is superb value. 93 and full of life.

The color shows its age and its well evolved now, yet full of the spicy, red fruits of Aussie Shiraz yet well in balance and with elegance. Even for people like us that we dont really like this style of wine we saw its appeal. a pretty good 92. Drink now

Quite a very difficult wine to place other than it is a new world wine. Dark in color with purple notes. Quite a bit of rose on nose, light touch of spice, pepper, dark fruits. Very perplexing to try blind tbh. On the palate it is young and rich but not harsh and with a youthful balance devout of over ripeness, porty notes and thankfully over oakiness. Not a wine we would normally go for but pretty good. a very good 90
