  April 5, 2009 - Opened at a restaurant and after first taste decided not to decant. Wine was dark purple in the glass and dominated by black fruits. Oak and tannins were noticeable but very well resolved. As dinner wore on notes of cedar and cassis came to dominate. This wine is in a very enjoyable place right now, perfect for a steak dinner.
