  August 12, 2009 - Very interesting blend and not what I was expecting....beautiful, expressive nose of blackberry, black cherry, and sweet red fruit. Also some smoke and floral aspects. Nice fruit on the mid palate but not fruit bomb style. A little unbalanced on the finish with some heat and tannins but great underlying complexity and structure. I see this coming together in the next decade to become and exceptional wine.
