  October 3, 2009 - Anniversary Weekend - 2009; 10/2/2009-10/4/2009 (Minnesota): Compared to the 2007 Roessler last night, this one is much more in the wheelhouse for me. Not getting the "sour" from the last outing. Rather the palate is highlighted by a medium body with a noticeable resin character that takes a long time to fade on the finish. Again, some pleasant stems are also there. I really, really like this and was tempted to rate this higher. However, with some air it develops a bit of a harshness on the finish that keeps my score where it is. Also (and my fault rather than the wine's), this did not pair particularly well with G's pork tenderloin with pancetta, cilantro, etc.
