  December 27, 2009 - Medium purple in color with a bright ruby edge and a complex, mixed red berry nose. Opened and sat for 45 minutes. This wine is velvety smooth with rich blackberries, black cherries, blueberries and a layering of cassis, spice and some vanilla. The entire effect is elegant. Moderate mouthfeel and medium finish.
