March 8, 2010 - after the prior night's tasting i tried double decanting a bottle for 24 hours and there was improvement as secondary nuances showed up, particularly in the bouquet...notes of chocolate, dark cherries and oak. in the mouth the fruit came a little more forward and it's clearly concentrated, but the tannins are like a cloak that will need years to shed. this one requires patience
