  August 16, 2010 - I typically enjoy Folatieres, from a variety of producers, and this is no exception. Oak and fruit combine on the nose in an unusual way, almost suggestive of a mild cheese. On the palate, this is entering its prime. Rather lush fruit with a tinge of minerality and oak. In general, the mouthfeel trends towards creamy, with some acidity that gives it a lift. I think this can continue to improve for at least 5 years if properly stored and no premox (this bottle shows no signs).
