  April 10, 2011 - So, after a long wait on the waiting list, finally KB lets me buy a bottle of this stuff. Since putting my name on the list, I've come to hate most super-ripe, oaky Cali Pinots. So I fully expected to hate this. And you know what? I didn't hate it. Actually, I liked it, in a guilty way. This is sweet, silky bubble gum wine. About as far from Burgundy as Pluto is, but pretty tasty on its own terms. Am not going to go out and fill my cellar with this stuff, but as a tasty indulgence, and guaranteed crowd-pleaser (at least for a crowd not full of Burgundy geeks), I'll stay on the KB list.
