April 24, 2011 - Tinges of brown in the red. Nose of earth, dust, chalk and currant. First notes of stone, leather and cherry moving to chocolate and earth. Long finish. Did not decant. Evolved a bit during the meal. Nice structure. Not as extraordinary as the last bottle but still wonderful.
