  December 31, 2011 - HKCC NY Lunch. Decanted 1 hr. 750 ml. Appearance: super dark ink, black. Nose: concentrated red fruit medley, a little too uniform for me Taste: rich, fleshy, concentrated, but without classic old world notes. Cassis, brambles tart, vanilla sundae, etc. A lot of sediment, decant carefully. My first Harlan...sorry, but not in my cellar in the near future.. (affordability, and personal liking...)
