  January 2, 2012 - Aromas of orange, orange peel and lemon peel with some summer flowers and still spice from new oak. Big, fat fruit comes through on the palate with plenty of spice. Still quite alive at over a decade, although probably a bit shorter than it was a few years back. Quite enjoyable, but I really couldn't imagine ever mistaking this for Grand Cru Burgundy.
