  January 8, 2012 - Garnet with a rusty terracotta edge. Upon opening, smoke, earth, black currants, gravel, ripe black fruits. Cedar box in the background. Silky smooth, medium bodied. Dark fruits, especially stewed plums on the palate. Wonderfully light & smooth tannins balanced by mellow yet persistent acidity which form the edges to the fruit core. Lovely
