  July 25, 2012 - Nose: Cedar and cigar box with red fruits (cherries and some raspberry), mint, and later cassis aromas. The mint was subtle and kept going in and out, which was interesting. Palate: Soft styled and plush with red and blue fruits, hints of mint, cassis and a medium length finish. At 8 years of age this is showing very well. First Leeuwin I have had and it is very solid. Although new world reminds me of a Pauillac with the cedar and cigar box aspects. Good stuff. 92+ points.
