  October 6, 2012 - Loved this wine with a nice steak on the grill. Excellent nose of cherry and blackberry. Both red and black fruit on the palate with some vanilla and spice in the middle with lingering finish of cassis. Soft tannins with very smooth mouth feel probably because it has some merlot in it. We usually drink a big Cabernet Sauvignon with steaks, and this was a delightful change of pace. Decanted for about an hour prior to drinking
