November 15, 2012 - Five Decades of Lynch Bages with Richard Brazier (Handford Wines, London): Along with the Pontet Canet this is another of the forward 2000s from Pauillac, but still it could benefit from another 5yrs in the cellar.
Quite a dense dark colour, which goes in hand with the ripeness of fruit that this wine has. They oak is still around but not out of balance, lots of fruit on the nose. A succulent wine, ripe fruit, good tannin, has nice length and complexity and with no harsh element sat all. Good balance and acidity and has a great future ahead of it. Solid. 92-931 person found this helpful 16,230 views
