  November 17, 2012 - Fairly dark red. Very open nose at first with lots of bramble, earth and boysenberry. No brett or ass like others have noted. In fact the wine is dissapointingly clean and fruit driven. The flavours are dark fruit and spice and the finish is very soft. Later it seemed to close up a bit. so I'm not sure what to do with my remaining bottles. The acid should keep everything in check while the nose develops but 5 years would be the longest I would hold a bottle.
